HOW DO CUSTOMERS SHOP ON MY STYLIST STORE?

Your clients can access your StyList Store in various ways.
● Clicking on a ‘Shop Now’ button, prominently displayed on your salon’s website homepage
● Clicking on your StyList Store’s hyperlink from anywhere you display it - social media bios, emails, salon signage,
text messages, etc…
● Scanning your StyList Store’s customized QR code from salon signage

DO I NEED A SALON WEBSITE TO HAVE A STYLIST STORE?

No, a salon website is not required to have a StyList Store.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A SALON SOFTWARE SYSTEM TO HAVE A STYLIST STORE?

No, a software system is not required to have a StyList Store.

DO I HAVE TO BE AN EXISTING CLIENT OF SULLIVAN BEAUTY IN ORDER TO HAVE A STYLIST STORE?

Nope, you can have an active StyList Store without being an active client of Sullivan Beauty. Your StyList Store will only be able to feature the brands Sullivan Beauty offers.

BRANDS & PRODUCTS

WHAT BRANDS ARE ON MY STYLIST STORE?

The choice is yours - any brand that Sullivan Beauty offers. Select from the brand options during enrollment. Many choose to test out the popularity of additional brands on your StyList Store that you may not stock in-salon. Most also offer professional tools.

CAN I PUT OTHER BRANDS ON MY STYLIST STORE?

Your StyList Store can only include brands that Sullivan Beauty offers. Salons carrying brands that Sullivan Beauty doesn’t currently offer will typically include the shopping link to their StyList Store as well as shopping links to their other brands on their website.

WILL OUR CLIENTS BE ABLE TO ORDER A PRODUCT ON OUR STYLIST STORE IF IT IS CURRENTLY BACKORDERED AT SULLIVAN BEAUTY?

No, products that are not in stock at Sullivan Beauty will not be visible or order-able on your StyList Store. Once item is back in stock, it will automatically update to be visible/order-able on your StyList Store.

WHAT IS THE SHIPPING COST TO MY CUSTOMERS?

Free shipping on any order over $50. Orders totaling less than $50, will charge your client a flat rate of $4.99.

WHO PAYS FOR THE SHIPPING?

Your client gets free shipping on any order over $50. The $9.99 shipping cost is deducted from the commission you earn on your client's purchase. Your commission never drops below 30%. For instance, if your client makes a $49.99 purchase that offers a $24.99 commission, your net commission will be $15.00 (30%) after the $9.99 shipping cost is deducted.

CAN MY CLIENT SHIP PRODUCTS TO THEIR VACATION HOME?

Yes, during checkout, your client will select 'I want to use a new address'. The order will ship to that address.

ACTIVATION

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Simply click on the enrollment form and enter your information. It takes no more than 5 minutes to create your StyList Store and you will be notified with a welcome email within 48 hours that your StyList Store is live!

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY STYLIST STORE IS LIVE?

Once your StyList Store is activated, you will receive a welcome email with your StyList Store’s unique information that you’ll want to save for reference.
● Username & Password
● StyList Store hyperlink – to be promoted & embedded on your website
● Administrative Dashboard hyperlink – to access your sales reports and administrative tools

ONCE MY STYLIST STORE IS LIVE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

● Explore your StyList Store!
● Review the training video linked in your welcome email
● Promote/advertise your StyList Store
● Place a test order

WHAT DOES IT COST TO HAVE A STYLIST STORE?

Your StyList Store costs $8/month. This is charged in 1 annual fee of $96 when you enroll. Your annual fee will automatically renew 1 year from your enrollment date, unless you choose to cancel before then. Elite Rewards Salons earn their Stylist Store for free.

WHY DO I PAY A FEE TO HAVE A STYLIST STORE?

We choose to offer full sales commission for the products sold on your StyList Store. Other affiliate programs offer half of that. Therefore, we aren’t absorbing extra profit to cover the hosting fee that we pay to host your StyList Store. We charge you the $8/month hosting fee in exchange for full sales commission.

WHAT IS A HOSTING FEE?

Web hosting is the service that makes your website available to be viewed by others on the Internet. A web host provides space on its server, so that others can access your StyList Store by means of a network or modem. With paid hosting, you pay a fee for space and services on a web hosting provider's server. Monthly fees can range from a few dollars to several hundred dollars. StyListStores.com is only $8/mo ($96 annually)

RETAIL SALES COMMISSIONS

HOW ARE WE PAID SALES COMMISSION?

At the end of the month, we run a master report showing us your StyList Store’s retail sales. We issue your business a Sullivan Beauty credit for the full profit margin of all products sold on your StyList Store. You will be emailed a credit memo (to the master email you enroll your StyList Store with) that specifies your credit value.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SALES COMMISSION EACH TEAM MEMBER EARNED?

Each month you’ll earn a Sullivan Beauty credit for your StyList Store’s retail sales profit. It’s at your discretion if and how you handle stylist commission. You can access your StyList Store’s “Purchase Report” 24/7 from your Administrative Dashboard. This report shows which clients purchased what products and who their associated stylist is. Use this report to distribute retail sales commissions.

HOW DO I DISTRIBUTE SALES COMMISSION TO MY TEAM MEMBERS?

Each month you’ll earn a Sullivan Beauty credit for your StyList Store’s retail sales profit. With this credit you can purchase retail products that provide sales income. You can choose to pay your stylists retail sales commission as soon as your credit is available.

ADVERTISING YOUR STYLIST STORE

WHAT ADVERTISING TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE TO PROMOTE MY STYLIST STORE?

Once your StyList Store is activated, you’ll receive a welcome email that includes a link to several digital tools designed to promote your online store, including our Promotional Tip Guide.

WHAT DIRECT MARKETING IS PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SOFTWARE INTEGRATION?

Your StyList Store offers promotional email templates that can be sent to all clients with email addresses in your software’s database. We recommend introducing your StyList Store with a “$10 off their first order” incentive. This cost is covered by StyList Stores on your behalf. There are several additional email campaigns available to drive traffic to your StyList Store.

SOFTWARE INTEGRATION

HOW DOES MY STYLIST STORE INTEGRATE WITH MY SALON SOFTWARE?

StyList Store integrates with a “gateway” to your salon software. This integration prevents manufacturers from perceiving your E-Commerce store as a diversion site and it allows you to directly email promotions, subscription offers & replenishment reminders to your clients.

HOW DO I INTEGRATE MY STYLIST STORE INTO MY SALON SOFTWARE?

When enrolling, you have the option to indicate that you want your software to be integrated. If you choose to do so, your Stylist Store will be set up to integrate to your software's customer base, allowing you to easily send your customers emails to promote your Stylist Store. *Please update us if ever your software system changes in the future so we can re-integrate for you. customercare@sullivanbeauty.com
